1940 Mercury Deluxe, Rotisserie, modernized street rod built on reinforced frame. 302 Mustang engine with 300 HP, mated with C-4 transmission. Automatic Lokar shifter on the floor with a 9″ Ford rear end. The car has a Mustang II front end with 11″ rotor disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Wide white wall radials are mounted on big and small steelies to accomodate trim rings and center caps. Interior has front buckets and rear bench in dark green with black inserts. Door panels mirror the seats, black carpeting throughout, including the trunk. All reconditioned instrumentation, Flaming River tilt steering wheel, and AM/FM/CD with power antenna. Also added at restoration was Vintage Air, seat belts and tinted glass around. The most amazing aspect of this 1940 Merc is the show quality paint in black with green/blue Metalflake.
