When we bought the GTO the paint and body work was done, new floor pans were already installed; there is no rust on this GTO. New body mounts and rubber, new gas tank and lines, new fuel pump, new sending unit, brake lines, new upper and lower ball joints, new tie rod ends, new shocks front and rear, and front springs were installed by the previous owner, detailed beautifully underneath.Turbo 400 transmission with shift kit, mild off-road cam and Pertronix solid state ignition system were installed at the same time (receipt from previous owner from Bayshore Engine Rebuilders in San Francisco). Don’t have paint code, the closest that we can come is a Honda Cardinal Red Metallic1988 – as determined by AC Delco Superstore’s paint scanner. There are a handfull of small nicks in the paint, in inconspicuous places. The rear window has a few scratches, but we have a replacement rear window. Trunk rubber, hood rubber, window rubbers and door rubbers all replaced by previous owner and still in great condition. As much as I can see, I believe that this car had a frame-off restoration at some point – everything underneath is very clean.
