The drivetrain consists of the original 350ci/300hp V8 (70S406932, VO305CTG), TH400 automatic transmission (C70K423), and a 3.36 Posi rear end (CLR123069W). Additional features include power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, and air conditioning (factory air, currently running a Sanden compressor). Subtle upgrades for comfort and safety include a carbon/fiberglass composite rear spring with matching KYB shocks and rear stabilizer bar in place of the much heavier steel transverse leaf springs, Diamondback Red Line radial tires, leather Saddle upholstery in place of vinyl Saddle, and a newer AM/FM stereo. This finely-tuned chassis provides a very smooth and quiet ride with tight handling and a noticeable lack of squeaks and rattles.
